Know what your team actually did — without asking.
WorkWitness watches Windows activity silently and honestly, then writes one paragraph per teammate delivered to your email and WhatsApp every morning at 7 am IST. No dashboard to log into. No stand-up needed just to find out who is stuck.

You are managing by feel. That is costing you good people.
Most Indian founders running 5–50-person teams discover a problem the same way: a missed deadline, a client escalation, or a resignation that surprises everyone. The real issue was visible weeks earlier in the work pattern — it just was not written anywhere.
- Catch focus drains before they become missed deadlines.
- Spot who is quietly stuck without a status meeting.
- Recognise the teammate carrying the load and burning out.
- Balance workloads across your team with numbers, not guesses.
App activity in. A written brief out.
End to end, in four steps. Nothing magic, nothing hidden.
Windows agent captures activity
App name, window title, and focus duration. The owner can run the agent visible, silent, or stealth depending on workspace policy.
Encrypted upload to your tenant
TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest. Scoped to your tenant only — your data sits in your slice.
AI writes one paragraph per teammate
Pattern detection runs over the event stream. Sensitive strings are masked before they reach the model.
Brief delivered at 7 am IST
Email and WhatsApp. The two apps you already check before standup. No new dashboard to build a habit around.
Four patterns. Named in plain English.
Not a wall of metrics. The AI looks for four signals, then writes about them — only when they actually show up in that day's data.
Focus stretches
Continuous time inside a single app or document. The brief names who held the stretch and how long — no dashboard needed.
Context-switch storms
When someone is jumping between 30+ windows an hour, the pattern flags that they need help — not more output.
Quietly stuck
Window frontmost, document unchanged for two hours. A small flag for a small conversation before the day slips.
Heroic grind
Worked late, picked up a teammate's thread, shipped on a deadline. The brief calls it out by name so you can thank them.
Same brief. In the inbox you already check.
At 7 am IST every morning, a brief lands in your email and WhatsApp. One paragraph per teammate. No login. No new habit to build.
The portal is there if you need it. You often won't.
Two views you can open for depth. The brief stands alone — the portal is for when a signal in the brief needs investigation.
Team dashboard
Weekly KPI tiles — active time, focus stretches, idle flags — and a per-teammate summary row. Open when you want the week at a glance.
Per-employee day view
Focus time, context switches, and top apps by focus duration. The screenshot strip by hour if screenshots are on.
Reports archive
Every brief, searchable. Filter by signal type — focus stretch, switch storm, quietly stuck, heroic grind — to spot patterns across weeks.
Privacy settings
One switch flips events-only mode. Every teammate on Visible mode sees an agent badge on their machine that matches what is actually running.
Intelligence that earns trust, not resentment.
Productivity intelligence only works when the team accepts it. These are the three principles WorkWitness is built around.
Visibility by policy
The owner can choose visible, silent, or stealth mode. Visible mode names WorkWitness in Task Manager; silent and stealth modes are available where your environment requires lower visibility.
Events, not contents
App name and focus duration. Never keystrokes, webcam, or file contents. In events-only mode, not even screenshots leave the laptop.
Masked before AI
Names, file paths, and client identifiers are stripped before the event stream reaches Claude. The model summarises patterns, not raw content.
Your team can see it running. That is the point.
When you set a teammate to Visible mode, WorkWitness Agent appears in Task Manager with its real name. Not a process called svchost-x.exe. Not a tray-hidden binary. A mode badge on every machine matches what is actually running.
We chose visible deliberately. If a team revolt is the risk, hiding the tracker is the opposite of the fix. Trust is a one-way ratchet — once broken, no privacy mode wins it back.
What is in. What is out.
If something is not on this table, we do not do it. If we add a capability later, this page changes first.
The questions Indian founders actually ask.

+What data does it actually collect?
