WorkWitness was born from a simple realization: traditional employee monitoring software is broken.
As founders running growing development and support shops in Mumbai, we tried standard tracking tools. What we found was alarming. These tools either forced extreme, spyware-style surveillance (taking random screenshot bursts and recording raw keystrokes) or presented massive, unreadable activity charts.

We knew there had to be a way to build accountability without surveillance.We built a lightweight Windows agent that simply notes arrival and wind-down times based on genuine active app windows. Then, we coupled it with an AI engine that reads the daily activity, local-scrubs sensitive text, and summarizes the day into one clear, narrative paragraph per teammate.
