DeskTime presents live dashboards, stack rankings, and colour-coded productivity bars. Managers open a browser tab and interpret the data themselves. There is no AI narrative layer.
The brief lands in your email and WhatsApp before standup. You do not open a URL to learn how yesterday went. The insight comes to you before you open your laptop.
DeskTime's reports are accessed via a web dashboard or scheduled email digests. There is no WhatsApp integration or AI-narrated summary delivered to your phone.
Events-only mode flips off screenshots and limits URL capture to domain only. Sensitive strings are stripped before the AI model ever sees the data. Designed to align with India's DPDP Act, 2023.
DeskTime captures screenshots on premium plans and offers productivity categorisation by default. There is no equivalent events-only mode or masking layer before data is processed.
WorkWitness can run visible, silent, or stealth depending on the admin-selected policy. Visible mode names the agent in Task Manager; silent and stealth modes are available when an environment requires lower visibility. Events-only mode can still limit capture to app-level signals.
